Mandala Trinket Dish - Texture Mat

This Mandala Trinket Dish Texture Mat by Coral Cockatoo is perfect for adding beautiful patterns to your clay trinket dishes and other creations. This texture mat has been designed to fit perfectly in our Circle trinket dish or Mandala trinket dish cutter.

The texture mat measures approximately 10cm x 10cm.

To use the mat, simply roll out your clay to the desired thickness, place the texture mat image face down on your clay and roll over it with a roller, applying slight pressure so that the texture imprints the clay.

When creating your trinket dish with polymer clay, we recommend rolling your clay approximately 2-4mm thick. To create a rounded bowl shape simply press the trinket dish into an oven proof bowl or dish and bake it according to the polymer clay packet directions.

When creating your trinket dish with air-dry clay, once you have textured and stamped out the shape of your clay, place it in a bowl or desired form to create the rounded shape (we recommend popping down a strip of baking paper to easily pull out the dish once the top side is dry and avoid sticking. Once the top side is dry, flip it over so that the bottom can finish drying completely. 

Texture Mat Care Instructions

- hand wash the texture mat in luke warm water prior to first use.

- If there is any clay residue after use, either wipe with a baby wipe or wash in luke warm water with a soft bristle toothbrush.
